Operations Support Technician Job Description

The Operations Support Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of dipping operations. This includes performing daily maintenance, testing, and recording tasks to guarantee the correct performance of dipping operations. The successful candidate will serve as a backup for the Laboratory Technician and will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure the correct performance of dipping operations
  • Test and record the viscosity, pH, and temperature of Pre-dip tanks, clear coagulate tanks, neoprene tanks, leach tanks, and neoprene totes
  • Enter test results in the dip log in the vault
  • Keep back with tabs mandrel tools clean and pre-dipped
  • Empty, clean, and refill production and auxiliary tanks on a preventive schedule
  • Support operations by placing totes under a mixer, testing contents, reporting test outcomes, loading chlorination washer, weighing chlorination washer, washing loads, drying loads, gathering and organizing mandrels, and stocking safety supplies
  • Generate test data for research, product development, quality control, and establishing standards
  • Collect retain components for shelf-life assessments and manage temperature recording in the dipping department

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED and six months related experience required
  • Forklift certification
  • Multi-tasking proficiency
