Job Title: Mechanical Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Test Engineer to join our Qualification Operations Team based in New Stanton, PA. As a Mechanical Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our equipment by conducting qualification testing and analysis.

About the Role:
  • Conduct equipment qualification testing and analysis to provide evidence that the equipment will perform its safety-related function(s)
  • Support seismic and environmental qualification efforts
  • Interface with technical leads, project managers, and customers to coordinate activities associated with assigned work scope
  • Work with internal and external customers to develop test plans
  • Prepare test reports using data and results obtained during testing
  • Execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or recognized equivalent required
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Capability to understand and interpret design documents including drawings and calculation summaries
  • Creative problem solver using engineering fundamentals
  • Must possess analytical skills, critical thinking, a passion for attention to details and excellent communication skills including technical writing
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
