Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Scratch Baker to play a pivotal role in the production of our hand-crafted baked goods. This position requires a dedication to maintaining high standards in a collaborative and professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft a diverse range of handmade yeasted breads and laminated pastries, including the preparation and shaping of danishes.
  • Prepare buttercreams and genoise for the pastry section.
  • Assist in the creation of Swiss specialties under guidance.
  • Organize daily setups for upcoming production needs.
  • Manage inventory of essential ingredients and prepped items, including laminated doughs and various mixes.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in baking or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices; ServSafe certification is a plus.
  • A background in Culinary Arts is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to accommodate last-minute requests with a positive attitude.
Work Schedule:
The bakery operates from Tuesday to Saturday, with hours from early morning until early afternoon. We observe closures on major holidays, ensuring a balanced work-life environment.

Compensation:
