Landscape Architect

As a Landscape Architect at Ackerman-Estvold, you will play a key role in shaping the built environment and creating sustainable spaces that enhance the quality of life for communities.

• Develop site plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development projects.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and architects to design and implement landscape projects.
• Analyze site conditions and integrate existing land features into designs.
• Inspect landscape work to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare graphic representations and drawings of proposed plans and designs.

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture, land development, and/or urban planning.
• Ability to obtain professional licensure in North Dakota within 2 years of hire.
• Knowledge of landscape elements, design, and construction methods and materials.
• Strong understanding of zoning, subdivision, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
