Landscape Architect

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect to contribute to the design and development of parks, recreational facilities, highways, and other properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in land planning and design, preparing site plans and specifications, and collaborating with clients and engineers.

• Develop site plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development projects.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and architects on landscape projects to ensure seamless execution.
• Analyze site conditions, including drainage and structure location, to inform environmental and landscaping plans.
• Integrate existing land features and landscaping into designs to create cohesive and functional spaces.
• Inspect landscape work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare graphic representations and drawings of proposed plans and designs to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Review and interpret plans, drawings, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety regulations.
• Develop concepts for riverfront master planning and flood control projects.
• Support the creation of marketing and sales exhibits for clients as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture, with a focus on land development.
• Ability to obtain professional licensure within 2 years of hire.
• Strong knowledge of landscape elements, design, and construction methods and materials.
• Understanding of zoning, subdivision, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
