We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will ensure that dishes are prepared to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food preparation and service. You will be expected to weigh, measure, and mix ingredients, prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards, and operate various kitchen equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring food quality while preparing food, setting up and breaking down work stations, and serving food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience.
