Part-Time School Psychologist Opportunity in Romulus, MI

We are seeking a School Psychologist to join our team in Romulus, Michigan. This role is perfect for professionals looking for flexibility in their schedule while making a real difference in students lives. Youll have the chance to support multiple schools and work with a team of district psychologists.

Position Highlights:
  • Location: Romulus, MI
  • Dates: ASAP Current school year (with potential to extend)
  • Position Type: Part-Time (with the option to transition to full-time)
  • On-Site Only: Required to work directly within the schools.
  • Hours: Flexible schedule depending on caseload and need
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with evaluations, assessments, and psychological testing across the district.
  • Collaborate with other district psychologists to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Provide IEP support and recommendations to help create individualized education plans for students.
  • Offer consultation to school staff, parents, and administrators regarding mental health and behavioral concerns.
  • Support the district with special education needs and interventions.
Qualifications:
  • Michigan School Psychologist license (required).
  • Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience working with students K-12.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and able to adjust to district needs.
Position Details:
  • Classroom: District-wide, providing support to multiple schools
  • Hours per Week: Part-Time (flexible hours, can grow into full-time)
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive based on experience and hours worked

Contract Duration:
  • For the current school year, with the potential to extend or transition to summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
