Job Summary

Join Skyworks, a leading innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors, as a RF Design Engineer Co-op in our Diversified Analog Solutions team. This 6-month Winter/Spring Co-Op opportunity is available for a university student starting Jan. 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and debug RF Front-End Modules (FEMs) with power amplifier, LNA, switch, and filter content in the 2-7 GHz frequency band.
  • Work with various technologies, including SOI, HBT, and MCM, to implement RF circuitry for wireless product offerings.
  • Support RF test evaluation of RFICs and multichip modules.
  • Assist full-time engineering group members with project assignments.
  • Complete a small die/package level design project.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. academic program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Successful completion of graduate courses with design projects to RF PA and/or LNA design.
  • Strong background in RF and Microwave design.
  • Knowledge of electronic circuits and principles.
  • Familiarity with design tools like ADS, Cadence, HFSS, etc.
  • Working experience with RF test equipment (e.g., Signal Generators, Network Analyzer, RF Spectrum Analyzer, etc.).
