Key Responsibilities:

  • Create quotes and process orders for established customers, working from beginning to end.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, outside sales representatives, and vendors via phone and email.
  • Process and manage customer orders, including typing orders and quotes within our system.
  • Support our company website customers by processing online orders, communicating via website chat, and troubleshooting any online account issues.
  • Organize paperwork and create job files as needed.
  • Order products and equipment as required, assisting customers with tracking orders and troubleshooting issues.
  • Train others on department material applications and limitations.
  • Coordinate shipping of orders and materials with various departments.
  • Address billing and service-related issues, referring complaints to designated departments for investigation.
  • Maintain inventory control and monitor the flow of materials, preparing reports as needed.
  • Support warehouse, counter, and showroom operations as required.
  • Stay up-to-date on products and product features available.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work safely.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of products sold and their applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, adapting to changing situations.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, customer service, negotiation, and stress management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Eclipse.
  • Maintain a professional image as a representative of ETNA Supply.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts, including margins, discounts, and percentages.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints (Underground division only).
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
