About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Cook to join our team at dnata catering U.S. in JFK. As a Specialty Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our airline clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-volume, high-quality food from menus with a focus on creating high-quality specialty dishes.
  • Operate traditional Indian cooking equipment, including tandoors, and prepare Indian curries, sauces, and desserts.
  • Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, burners/pans, and other cooking equipment.
  • Ensure the correct preparation and presentation standard of the dishes is always maintained.
  • Store food in temperature-controlled freezers and check on food supplies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a culinary field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in producing Indian food and knowledge of HACCP/GMP.
  • Flexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and self-organization skills.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
