Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Serenity Healthcare Professionals LLC. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Record patients' medical histories accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects of medications.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, including fluid intake and output, and compose patient charts.
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, and enemas as needed.
  • Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Communicate with patients' families and friends to provide advice, comfort, and instructions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an LPN or similar role.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and undertake a variety of care tasks.
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
  • Perfect physical condition and stamina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress.
