At the Detroit Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill a Clinical Coordinator role on our Telemetry unit. As a leader in cardiovascular nursing care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working night shifts with a 36-hour workweek. You will be responsible for coordinating the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing patient needs, and evaluating patient outcomes. Your leadership skills will play a key role in promoting a culture of excellence and quality care within the department.

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will also participate in process improvement initiatives, provide input into nursing staff performance appraisals, and assist with staff educational requirements. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Required Qualifications
  • An Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan is mandatory.
  • One to two years of progressively more responsible experience in nursing, with evidence of increasing leadership abilities.
