The Detroit Medical Center, a leading academic medical center, is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the position of Manager Patient Services Telemetry. This role requires a candidate with strong leadership and management skills to oversee daily operations, ensure quality patient care, and lead a team of clinical professionals. The ideal candidate will have a BSN degree, current RN licensure in Michigan, and at least three years of progressive nursing experience. As a key member of the hospital's management team, this nurse manager will be responsible for managing a telemetry unit, supervising staff, and collaborating with other departments to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the telemetry unit.
  • Serve as a resource for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Mentor and coach staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
