Kimbrells Kustom Machine Shop, Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled High-Precision Machinist to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in operating Hurco CNC lathe machines. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating these high-precision machines to produce exceptional parts.
About the Role- CNC Lathe Operation: The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating Hurco CNC lathes, ensuring proper alignment and functionality of machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
- Programming: Strong knowledge of CNC programming, including conversational and G-code programming, is essential for success in this role.
- Tool Selection and Inspection: The selected candidate will be responsible for selecting and installing cutting tools correctly and inspecting them regularly to ensure part quality and machine efficiency.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications is crucial for determining machining operations, sequences, and tool requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, specifically with Hurco machines.
- Strong understanding of Hurco control systems (WinMax, Conversational Programming, or similar).
- Experience with manual and CNC measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Previous experience working with Hurco CNC lathes.
- CNC programming experience (both conversational and G-code).
- Experience with CNC machine troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
- Estimated salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
