Electronics Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our production team at HESCO. As an Electronics Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling electronic components, reading schematics, and working with light metal fabrication to build top-tier industrial products.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret electrical schematics and production drawings to assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies.
- Position and align parts in light metal fabrication and cable assembly processes according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Mount assembled components on chassis panels and assemble electrical wiring and components.
- Connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
- Install finished assemblies or sub-assemblies in cases and cabinets.
- Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.
- Operate drill presses, hydraulic knockout punches, and grinders.
- Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
- Perform online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
We require a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or an Associate's Degree (A.S.) in a technical discipline such as Electronics preferred; and 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some knowledge of NEC Code is also required.
