As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing various electronic equipment, as well as providing technical assistance to students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electronic equipment, including digital oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies.
  • Provide technical assistance to students and faculty, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • Develop and implement laboratory experiments and demonstrations, including fabricating and assembling equipment.
  • Order and receive materials and supplies, and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist in the preparation of the laboratory budget and monitor expenditures.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience performing equipment operation, repair, and maintenance in areas relevant to assigned department.
  • Possession of a high school diploma/GED or the equivalent, supplemented by college-level coursework in relevant equipment technology program.
  • Possession of, or ability to acquire, a Class B driver's license with airbrake endorsements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in wiring and troubleshooting of control systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), relays, contactors, and motors.
  • Possession of any certification within the electronic fields, such as Federal Communications Commission (FCC) General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) or National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Solar Installation Certification.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $31,134 per year, with the potential for step increases up to $37,932 per year, depending on experience.
