ManTech is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in the Fort Meade, MD area. This position is part of a team that provides engineering and Information Technology services to provision, manage, sustain, innovate, modernize, refresh, reengineer, and secure the Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and Non-NC2 cryptographic production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop system requirements specifications by gathering, formulating, and analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures.
  • Participate in an integrated Product Team to design new capabilities and coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews.
  • Provide technical leadership for conducting feasibility studies, integration of requirements, design, and technology, and incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Interact with the Customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Experience developing system engineering documentation and gathering, formulating, and analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 14 years of experience or 19 years of total experience in Systems.
  • Experience developing system engineering documentation.
  • Experience with requirements verification traceability Matrices (RVTM).
  • Experience briefing and taking systems through system level reviews (i.e., System Requirements reviews, System Engineering review boards, Configuration Control Boards, Software validation testing).
  • Experience with Hardware and Software systems.

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Currently hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph.
