POSITION SUMMARY
:
This role is essential in enhancing manufacturing operations through advanced technical contributions and supporting process engineering tasks within the fabrication environment.
This position operates on a compressed work schedule, requiring availability from 6:50 PM to 7:00 AM for 3 to 4 days each week, aimed at maintaining production efficiency in a semiconductor fabrication facility focused on SAW/GaAs technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage production materials during non-task periods.
- Collaborate closely with operations and engineering teams to execute product dispositions effectively.
- Set up and validate semiconductor processing equipment.
- Guide and mentor factory operators to improve overall productivity.
- Assist in investigations related to material scrap.
- Identify and troubleshoot process issues by adhering to established procedures.
- Analyze and respond to statistical process control data.
- Recognize and implement potential improvements concerning safety, quality, output, and cost efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree or higher in a STEM field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential; the ability to work effectively with operations, equipment support, and engineering teams in a collaborative setting is crucial.
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DoE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other statistical methodologies is beneficial.
- This role necessitates the use of cleanroom attire and protective gear; physical demands include bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
