Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. As a Glaucoma Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supervision in various outpatient ophthalmology settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high clinical and ethical standards in patient care and decision-making processes.
  • Adhere to compliance measures and promote a collaborative practice environment.
  • Foster a high level of patient and staff satisfaction through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Perform clinical and surgical duties, research, and teaching to include medical students, interns, and residents.
Requirements
  • Board certification/board eligibility in Ophthalmology with subspecialty training in Glaucoma.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
  • Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills, with expertise in working in a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
