Cornea Specialist Job Description

The Department of Ophthalmology at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Cornea Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and supervision in our outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and supervision in our outpatient settings
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with corneal disorders
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in educational programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Ophthalmology with Corneal subspecialty training
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
  • Expertise in working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
