Role Overview
The Item Level Financing (ILF) team plays a crucial role in providing customers with diverse financing options for their shopping carts. This area presents complex challenges that require innovative solutions to address significant customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of intricate and ambiguous customer-facing programs, collaborating across various teams and organizations within Amazon and with external partners.
  • Partner with product management and engineering teams to define technical specifications and requirements.
  • Create comprehensive technical solution documents for identified problem areas as necessary.
  • Oversee the entire program management lifecycle, from planning to launch, including risk management, requirements gathering, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain reporting structures for your areas of responsibility, implementing new reporting mechanisms when required.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders across multiple business and technical teams to define and achieve agreed-upon milestones, proactively managing potential bottlenecks and trade-offs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team to maximize productivity.
  • Establish, manage, and report on program goals, performance metrics, and efficiency to a variety of stakeholders across different technical domains.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • 7+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management with software engineering teams.
  • Proven experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, establishing sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Proficiency in defining KPIs and SLAs to drive multimillion-dollar business outcomes and reporting to senior leadership.
