Job Title: Senior Finance Manager, Payments

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to lead the Payments Acceptance and Experience (PAE) Finance team. As a key member of the Amazon Payments Finance team, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, controllership of Amazon's Cost of Payments, and providing customers with a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain rhythm of business documents, including Annual and 3-year Operating Plans
  • Support contract negotiations and provide strategic guidance to the team
  • Determine investments and corresponding ROI
  • Lead the COP and Accounts Receivables for Amazon
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of tax, finance, or related analytical field experience
  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or highly analytical field, and 10+ years of finance experience, or Master's degree and 8+ years of finance experience
  • 5+ years of direct management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hiring, leading, and developing teams experience
  • 8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
  • 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan
  • 8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members
  • 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
