Opportunity Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage sleep disorders in our patients. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments, analyzing diagnostic sleep studies, and developing tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and sleep-focused evaluations. Analyze diagnostic sleep studies, such as polysomnograms and home sleep apnea tests. Team up with physicians to establish precise diagnoses and craft effective treatment strategies.
  • Treatment Planning and Management: Create and execute tailored treatment plans that address individual patient needs and conditions. Prescribe, oversee, and adjust medications, therapies, and other interventions targeting sleep disorders. Educate patients on lifestyle changes and sleep hygiene to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Follow-Up and Monitoring: Schedule and manage follow-up visits to evaluate treatment success and modify plans as necessary. Track patient progress and coordinate specialist referrals when indicated. Ensure patient records are meticulously documented and current.
  • Patient Advocacy and Support: Deliver care with empathy and compassion, supporting patients and their families. Respond to patient inquiries and provide support throughout their care journey.
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid NP license in Virginia
  • Prior experience in sleep medicine or related disciplines is a plus
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical assessment and diagnostics
