Loan Advisor

The Loan Advisor role is a customer-centric, inside sales position within the Call Center. As a Loan Advisor, you will be responsible for both inbound and outbound calls through various marketing tactics, where providing financial solutions and excellent customer service to customers is top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze applicant information to determine whether the customer qualifies for a beneficial loan program.
- Assist customers in discussing financial objectives and goals and take the initial loan application.
- Clearly communicate the loan program terms and benefits available to the customer as well as the loan process.
- Ensure all required documents are returned and disclosures are signed in a timely manner.
- Follow our sales process and QA requirements to remain compliant.
- Continually meet and/or exceed the Sales KPI's set by Management.
- Be responsive to customers' needs and expectations.
- Have excellent communication skills and be clear, concise, and professional when speaking with customers.
- Be eager to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- At least one (1) year of mortgage sales experience.
NMLS/SAFE, at least 1 active license or at a minimum, the ability to be licensed without having to retake the SAFE exam.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and workplace policies. Ability to analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write professional correspondences. Ability to write routine business reports. Ability to speak effectively with other employees and/or customers. Ability to present formal information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, managers, employees, customers and/or the public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
