Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and lead forensic investigations into insurance fraud, utilizing expertise to identify and prosecute fraudulent claims
  • Develop and prosecute civil recovery actions, working closely with clients to achieve successful outcomes
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure thorough case development and strategy implementation, leveraging collective expertise to drive results
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and meeting expectations

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background, with a focus on law and a proven track record of success
  • Admission to the New York State Bar and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York
  • 4 to 7 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on insurance fraud or commercial litigation
  • Excellent writing skills and proficient in legal research, with the ability to analyze complex information and develop effective strategies
  • Well-versed in federal practice, with experience drafting and responding to complex motions, conducting depositions, and writing and responding to discovery
  • Proven ability to function effectively under time constraints, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Strong litigation experience with a capacity to be a proactive team player, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Please note: We are not looking for attorneys who worked for personal injury firms or staff counsel or municipal agencies.
