General Manager Mobilization

About the Role:
The General Manager Mobilization is a critical position at Alstom, responsible for directing and coordinating the Contractor's performance to mobilize and successfully transition to new Contract Services.
This role requires a strong leader with the ability to manage complex projects, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary liaison between the Contractor and the Authority, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive mobilization plan to meet the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Manages and motivates a team of professionals to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Ensures compliance with Federal Regulations, CPUC regulations, and CAL/OSHA regulations.
- Develops and executes safety programs, maintains a safe working environment, and conducts comprehensive accident investigations.
- Oversees the development and submittal of Contract Deliverables, ensuring timely and successful start-up of services.
- Ensures DBE requirements are established and successfully initiated.
- Collaborates with the incumbent Contractors to facilitate a smooth transition of Contract services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or related field.
- 20 years of progressively responsible experience in railroad operations, maintenance, contract and project management, material and subcontract services procurement.
- Proven management experience, labor relations experience, and experience resolving grievances.
- Excellent contract and subcontract development and management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to make presentations to Senior Leadership, Governing Boards, and public stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Programs.
What We Offer:
Alstom offers a competitive salary range of $108,000.00 to $162,000.00 depending on experience/qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
