This position will be located in either Rancho Bernardo, CA or Melbourne, FL.



This role involves electronic design of avionics used on military aircraft, gathering data, requirements development, interfacing with suppliers, and briefing customers. You will also act as a manufacturing liaison during the build process to ensure overall quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. Additionally, you will support the integration of avionics on military aircraft and have a basic knowledge of design and analysis tools for electronic design.



Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Electronic design of avionics used on military aircraft
  • Gathering of data, requirements development, interfacing with suppliers and briefing customers
  • Acting as manufacturing liaison during the build process of your project to ensure overall quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved
  • Support integration of avionics on military aircraft
  • Basic knowledge of design and analysis tools for electronic design


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience OR Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of experience for T02.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or higher security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain additional Special Access Program (SAP) access


Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $87,200 - $130,800, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
