We are seeking a highly skilled ECMO Specialist Nurse to join our team at Orlando Health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and experience with ECMO therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Administer patient care in a high-acuity setting, utilizing advanced assessment and therapeutic skills to stabilize and support patients with complex medical conditions.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting electronic displays and recording vital signs.
- Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol, prioritizing patient care in an ongoing manner.
- Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to effectively plan and manage patient care, serving as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- ECMO experience required.
