Position Summary

The Senior Technician position is a critical role in our team, requiring a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills to diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical systems. As a Senior Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer service and quality products.

Our technicians enjoy a performance-based compensation model known as flat-rate pay, which rewards our skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task. This system fosters a culture of efficiency and swift task accomplishment, ensuring that you are fairly rewarded for your expertise and dedication.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical systems to specifications.
  • Perform brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems repairs.
  • Effectively communicate technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Must have a minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessment.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required.
  • Maintains Federal, State, and Local certification/license where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
