We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our growing Professional Services business, helping our customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve complex technical problems.

As a Cloud Consultant, you will work closely with our customers to understand their technical needs and provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, security, and migration strategies. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers, from small startups to large enterprises, and help them achieve their business goals through the use of cloud computing.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cloud computing, has a strong technical background, and is able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, security, and migration strategies to our customers.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their technical needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business goals.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to help our customers achieve their goals.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on architecture, security, and migration.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Experience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skills.
  • Professional experience architecting, deploying, and operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware, and storage.
  • Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
