Job Opportunity at The Pennsylvania State University

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Psychiatrist to join our team at The Pennsylvania State University's Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). As a substitute physician collaborator, you will work closely with our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional care to our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to university students in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Collaborate with mental health clinicians at CAPS as needed
  • Support the development of a safe and inclusive community that fosters academic, social, cultural, and personal growth
  • Work with diverse populations, including underrepresented students, international students, and sexually and/or gender diverse students
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree or higher
  • Minimum of six years of related experience
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania by start date of position
  • Board Certified with either the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry
  • Unrestricted DEA license
