About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Psychologist to join our team at Children's Health Council. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children, teens, and young adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and need.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, Learning Differences, Anxiety & Depression, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, therapists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.
  • Provide training and education to staff and community members on topics related to mental health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited graduate program.
  • Valid California license to practice psychology.
  • Minimum of three years of post-degree experience in a pediatric clinic, outpatient mental health setting, or school-based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development, mental health assessment, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
