Job Title: General Service Technician

At Tire Outlet, we're more than just a tire store - we're a complete automotive repair business offering a range of services from tire and oil change services to air conditioning and tire service. Our customers trust us to fix their vehicles right the first time, and we're looking for a skilled General Service Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Service Technician to perform non-technical service repairs, including oil changes, tire and wheel related services, alignments, flushes, and more. As a General Service Technician, you'll work alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians, receiving the training and support you need to advance your career.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-technical service repairs, including oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and flushes
  • Work alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians to receive training and support
  • Transport customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle
  • Pick up parts, supplies, tires, and other materials from vendors and the corporate office
  • Operate the company vehicle safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
  • Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles, following all company and state guidelines
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and outside the building
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays
