Job Title: Building Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Engineer to join our team at Storm4. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Niagara and Ignition platforms and be responsible for on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Implementation: Execute installations, configurations, and troubleshooting of building automation systems at various client locations.
  • System Integration: Work with Niagara and Ignition platforms to ensure effective integration and functionality of automation systems.
  • Energy Auditing: Conduct thorough energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings and improved system performance.
  • Design & Analysis: Develop energy-efficient designs and solutions in accordance with ASHRAE standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet technical, financial, and timeline goals.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and offer expert advice on building automation solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience with Niagara and Ignition platforms; familiarity with ASHRAE standards; background in project management.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of building automation systems, energy auditing techniques, and system design principles.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in building automation or energy auditing are a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to various client sites as needed.
