Benefits Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to lead the administration of our health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and leave programs. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of benefit enrollments, disability payments, and payroll deductions through regular audits and timely corrections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and oversee health insurance, life insurance, disability, COBRA, ancillary benefits, and retirement plans.
- Act as the primary liaison with insurance carriers, benefits brokers, and HR team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth program administration.
- Manage claims for life insurance, disability, and leaves of absence using our third-party vendor. Provide recommendations for resolution and keep leadership informed.
- Plan and execute annual open enrollment, including creating communication materials, hosting information sessions, and assisting employees with elections.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years in benefits administration or a similar HR role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience with a high school diploma.
- Deep understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and leave administration.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
