Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead key engineering initiatives from concept to execution. As a key member of our team, you will work across all of engineering and business to meet overall initiative and/or product objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, plan, and drive projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance.
  • Scope technical feasibility of new products by clarifying and analyzing requirements with SW/HW Architects, Technical Leads, and Engineers.
  • Develop program schedule by considering various driver, SW stack components, and HW/FW dependencies, negotiate, and create a staffing plan that supports the schedule.
  • Establish formal program management artifacts, including a plan of record, statements of work, project/program timelines, budget, scope, performance, and quality KPIs.
  • Plan for risks in the development path, identify prevention methods, and address them to save on engineering costs.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of requirements management, documentation management, and defect management.
  • Ability to grasp concepts during discussions and turn minutes into action items.
  • Able to communicate concepts and processes with stakeholders.
  • Analytical, self-motivated, organized, detailed-oriented, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with multiple people and teams, ability to communicate progress to team members on a regular basis.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and competing priorities and tight turnaround times.
  • Engineering background preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel is an asset.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
  • Formal project management education, PMP certified.
