Finance Assistant

Aspen Aerogels is a leading technology company in sustainability and electrification solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain financial performance reports and analysis for internal and external reporting
- Provide financial insights and support to various teams, including Controllership, FP&A, and Investor Relations
- Support day-to-day and month-end accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Conduct fixed assets and inventory reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
- Support forecasting and planning processes, including cost estimation and analysis
- Partner with IT to implement system solutions to automate daily tasks
- Prepare and participate in finance meetings
- Pursuing a BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and statistical analysis software
- Demonstrated interest in business and finance through relevant coursework and experiences
