About MBK Machine:

We are a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered components, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Mill Programmer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement machining strategies to transform design data into high-quality, precision-engineered hardware.
  • Create and optimize machine programs for 5-axis mills using Mastercam and/or Esprit, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
  • Collaborate with our manufacturing team, including machinists/operators, supervisors, and quality inspectors, to meet program schedules and performance objectives.
  • Design and develop manufacturing plans for high-volume production, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and develop custom tools and fixtures as needed to support our manufacturing processes.
  • Establish and maintain setup processes to ensure accurate alignment of geometry from CNC program to physical workpiece.
  • Select and implement suitable tooling for job-specific applications, considering factors such as material, tool life, and production efficiency.
  • Validate programs in Camplete before releasing them to the production team, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce machining/setup time and enhance part quality.
  • Maintain accurate file configuration control and job records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous production.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in CAM programming, with a strong focus on CNC machining.
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining, with a proven track record of producing high-quality parts.
  • 1+ years of experience with Mastercam or Esprit, with a strong understanding of programming principles and best practices.
  • 1+ years of experience with Solidworks, with a strong understanding of CAD design principles and best practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), with the ability to apply this knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with aerospace alloys, including aluminum, titanium, inconel, and stainless steels.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with machine shop and quality lab tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of their applications and limitations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities, with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
