Overview

Family Vet Lake St Louis is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing outstanding client service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries
  • Educate clients on animal care, treatments, and preventive measures
  • Perform routine lab tests and diagnostic procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Train and mentor other staff members
  • Develop and produce educational client handouts
  • Create engaging and informative educational videos for clients
  • Foster positive team interactions and contribute to a supportive work environment
Requirements
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with current license
  • Strong surgical skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and client education abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in creating educational content is a plus
  • Strong team interaction skills and a commitment to maintaining a positive team culture
