We are seeking a skilled and dedicated veterinary surgeon to join our team at the Animal Medical Center of Mid-America. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical services to our patients, including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries
- Take outpatient appointments as time allows
- Collaborate with primary care veterinarians and other hospital departments to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain a high standard of medicine and uphold the veterinary code of ethics
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Surgical residency trained and/or 10 years of relevant experience
- DVM licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Missouri or eligible
- DEA licensure in good standing or eligible
- Federal Accreditation or eligible
- $120,000 minimum base salary, negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials
- Commission opportunity with an average annual total compensation range of $120,000 to $165,000
- Continuing education expenses and CE paid time off
- MO Veterinary License, DEA, and MO Controlled Substance License paid
- Liability coverage (AVMA-PLIT)
- Annual membership dues paid for professional organizations
- Relocation assistance
