About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated veterinary surgeon to join our team at the Animal Medical Center of Mid-America. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical services to our patients, including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries
  • Take outpatient appointments as time allows
  • Collaborate with primary care veterinarians and other hospital departments to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain a high standard of medicine and uphold the veterinary code of ethics
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Surgical residency trained and/or 10 years of relevant experience
  • DVM licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Missouri or eligible
  • DEA licensure in good standing or eligible
  • Federal Accreditation or eligible
What We Offer
  • $120,000 minimum base salary, negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials
  • Commission opportunity with an average annual total compensation range of $120,000 to $165,000

  • MO Veterinary License, DEA, and MO Controlled Substance License paid
