Job Overview

Futurex is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is a unique blend of business development, IT environment design, and pre-sales technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales executives to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Apply technical expertise and business acumen to create innovative solutions for enterprise data security
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend enhancements to our cutting-edge cryptographic solutions
  • Provide pre-sales support and conduct technical proof of concepts to drive new business opportunities
  • Conduct customer training on our products and data security best practices
  • Manage custom development initiatives and global Hardened Enterprise Security Platform implementations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry-specific APIs and protocols used in external system interfaces
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field
  • Strong background in information technology
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work across multiple departments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with enterprise data encryption technology, including HSMs, enterprise key management, and tokenization for PCI DSS compliance
  • 2-4 years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking, multiple architectures, and platforms
  • Experience with Linux, OpenSSL, scripting, and sales/technical support
