Job Overview

OTO ENT Services LLC is seeking a dedicated full-time Physical Therapy Technician to enhance our exceptional rehabilitation team. This role primarily involves supporting therapists in delivering patient care, ensuring that individuals receive appropriate treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in non-patient care tasks as assigned by the supervising physical therapist, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and assistants to guarantee that patients are treated according to their scheduled appointments.
  • Prepare, sanitize, and maintain treatment equipment and areas under the guidance of therapists.
  • Facilitate patient scheduling, preparation, and transportation for rehabilitative sessions.
  • Handle administrative duties, including filing and other office-related tasks, as time permits.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct that reflect the values of the organization.
  • Ensure that behavior and actions within the administrative department align with the company's core values.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the workplace and propose effective solutions.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret business documents, professional journals, and regulations. Capable of writing reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic calculations, including discounts, percentages, and measurements.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with internet software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
  • Certifications: Certified Athletic Trainer licensed in the State of Florida, along with a valid driver's license.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess a warm and compassionate demeanor, with strong communication abilities with patients and management.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position include regular use of hands for handling and reaching, frequent standing and walking, and occasional lifting of weights up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception.
