Description

Venice Suites is seeking an Event Service Specialist. The Event Service Specialist is tasked with the prompt and courteous delivery of food and beverage orders to guest tables during banquet functions. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Follow established guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of all team members and guests.
  2. Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in line with property-specific protocols.
  3. Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor while delivering personalized service to guests.
  4. Effectively communicate with guests and fellow staff members.
  5. Assist in meal preparation and set or pre-set tables in the banquet area as directed.
  6. Complete all side tasks, including filling condiment containers, rolling silverware, and stocking service stations.
  7. Serve food and beverages professionally, checking in with guests to ensure their satisfaction throughout their experience.
  8. Adhere to food safety standards at all times.
  9. Help maintain the cleanliness of banquet facilities in accordance with company standards and health regulations.
  10. Report any lost or found items or any damage to equipment or property to the appropriate supervisor.
  11. Provide support to other team members and departments to enhance the overall performance of the restaurant and hotel.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
