Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service.
  • Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, and other tasks.
  • Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, using price overrides when necessary.
  • Manage customer expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, and delivery.
  • Affirm purchases and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections.
  • Share information and testimonials about products, in-store events, and workshops that enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area.
  • Maximize resources to get customers what they want and resolve any issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, complying with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with our People-First Philosophy.

  • Love to close sales and can articulate a proven ability to exceed goals.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate the POS system.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
