Position Overview:
The Senior Operations Strategy Specialist will report directly to the Business Operations Manager and will serve as a key support to the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a comparable position and will be a collaborative, forward-thinking individual who is proactive and dedicated to enhancing operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage strategic Sales Operations processes.
2. Mentor junior Sales Operations Specialists.
3. Collaborate with Business Operations leadership to establish a robust order execution framework and ensure daily adherence to this process.
4. Work alongside cross-functional teams to propel sales initiatives and pinpoint areas for process enhancement.
5. Monitor and evaluate CRM data for multiple Business Development partners.
6. Contribute to the evolution and improvement of sales technology and systems.
7. Assist in identifying and resolving sales operations challenges and inquiries.
8. Play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of sales operations.
9. Address RFQ inquiries and engage directly with customers regarding all quoting matters.
10. Develop and manage Sales Orders within SAP.
11. Aid in the processing of reseller agreements, NDAs, and compliance documentation.
12. Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related discipline.
2. Over 7 years of experience in sales operations or a similar capacity, ideally within the aerospace and defense sector.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
6. Proven experience with a CRM platform, demonstrating the ability to analyze data for C-level reporting.
7. Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
8. Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
9. Willingness to travel occasionally.
Additional Desired Skills:
1. Proficiency in CRM software and sales technology tools, particularly Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.
2. Experience in the implementation of CRM platforms and associated procedures.
3. Background in a rapidly expanding environment.
4. Direct experience with government contracting.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to remain seated for extended periods while engaging with a computer and participating in virtual or in-person meetings.
2. Frequent use of hands for typing, document handling, and operating computer equipment.
3. Good vision and hearing for effective communication, data analysis, and document review.
4. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
5. Mobility to navigate office areas, including bending, stooping, and reaching.
6. Capability to manage high levels of stress and maintain focus during complex operational tasks and interactions with various teams.
