About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this individual will oversee the activities of skilled and unskilled maintenance workers, ensuring that all equipment, buildings, and facilities are properly maintained, repaired, and serviced in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production.
- Inspect projects to ensure conformity to specifications and direct safety inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage inventory of materials, parts, and specialized tools for the maintenance function.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of maintenance-related services and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in manufacturing industry, with a strong background in maintenance and supervision.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct maintenance teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance-related issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
