About the Role

Catholic Community Services Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist II to join our team. As a key member of our service center team, you will provide direct care to families and individuals, utilizing a systemic, solution-oriented approach to interact with clients, youth, families, collateral contacts, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect client data, assess client needs, provide a diagnosis, and treatment plan for clients.
  • Provide quality care according to Agency, Mid-Valley Behavioral Care Network, Integrated Delivery Service System protocols, and Council on Accreditation Standards.
  • Maintain accurate records related to case management duties, including updating client notes and information, completing and sending appropriate billing information, and verifying annual and 90-day chart reviews.
  • Act as a liaison, advocate, or witness with other community agencies as required by treatment plan or individual case.
  • Provide after-hours care via crisis phone on a rotating basis with other clinicians.
  • Participate in teams, committees, training, or supervision as directed by supervisor, including case review, utilization review, peer review, group preparation and debriefing, treatment plan review, employee stewardship, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • M.A./M.S. in marriage and family therapy, counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Two years of prior therapist experience.
  • A professional certification or licensure in a mental health discipline.
  • Qualified Mental Health Professional (as prescribed in the Oregon Administrative Rules) for Medicaid provider status.
  • Demonstrate competency to conduct mental health assessments, including multi-axial D.S.M. diagnosis, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and/or group therapy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
