Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain fiber optic cables, equipment, and networks to ensure seamless connectivity and high-speed data transmission.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all installations and maintenance work meet Strata Networks' high standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, using various testing equipment and tools to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all installations, maintenance, and customer interactions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A two-year degree in a telecom-related field or one year of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC and networking skills, ability to learn and operate company-specific databases, and experience with fiber optic installation and maintenance.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift and move 75 lbs, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and have dexterity to feel and sort small wires.
Working Conditions

This is a field-based position, requiring the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and work well with other team members to achieve common goals. The successful candidate will be required to work varying shifts, including on-call, weekends, and holidays.
