Job Summary

Western Park is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various supervisory and journey-level duties, participating in the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the Western Park Ice Rink & WP complex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely maintenance in preparation and anticipation of various scheduled events.
  • Coordinates with office staff and community groups to ensure event specifications are met.
  • Maintains equipment maintenance log and monitors maintenance and custodial supplies.
  • Performs ongoing maintenance and cleaning, completes daily work projects, and ensures proper deodorizing and sanitizing of public areas.
  • Supports facility sound systems and AV, and performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school and specialized training in maintenance and construction fields.
  • Four years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance requirements.
  • Knowledge of plumbing methods, OSHA and ADA facilities maintenance, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to work 24-hour emergency calls.
