Lead Financial Analyst, FP&A

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
Work Arrangement: Primarily remote with occasional office visits required.
Compensation: Competitive annual base salary up to $135K, commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus bonus and benefits.
Role Overview:
This position reports to the Senior Manager of FP&A and is part of a collaborative team of five Finance Business Managers and Analysts. The primary focus will be on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) duties, including regular interaction with management regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) and data collection.
- Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support decision-making.
- Prepare reports on financial performance for leadership reviews.
- Evaluate historical results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure precise financial reporting.
- Assess financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Lead the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide insights on trends and forecasts, recommending actions for optimization.
- Analyze and interpret data to recommend actions; assess proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including the development of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
- Enhance productivity through the creation of automated reporting and forecasting tools.
- Conduct market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comparisons.
- Maintain a robust foundation in financial analysis, developing forecasts and models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate financial analysis.
- Strong expertise in budgeting and forecasting within an FP&A context.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Planning / Insights is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
